Grass-fed Beef TallowFrankie's Free Range Foods
All of our beef is 100% Grass Fed and Grass finished raised on Pasture year round.
Why Free Range?
The nutrition of our food depends on how it was grown, especially animal products. These vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids are stored in the protein and fat, determining both taste and nutrient content. Feedlot animals are not only missing the quality diet that make their meat taste good, they can have "off" flavors, a lower nutrient content, and an imbalanced fatty acid ratio. We strive to procure quality animal products that are both enjoyable and nutritious, as it should be.
Our tallow is low temperature rendered. We keep the temperature low to maintain nutrition and prevent degrading the fat.
Phenomenal Stuff, as close as it gets to being minimally processed. Not like the other commercial crap like epic or fat works.
Taste great and makes m food even more delicious. and its great to support small business!
very good for adding extra flavor to a dish compared to most any other fat. Has a very distinct beef scent that might turn off the unaccustomed. My new favorite cooking fat of choice right next to the iberico lard.
I usually buy this product of free range meats, but I'm writing the review here. Tallow has a great smell, you can tell it really is low-heat rendered and retains some of the raw fat properties. This tallow (interchangeable with wagyu tallow offered here) is great to cook with, and has given me some of the softest skin I have ever had. It sinks into skin immediately, leaving no greasy feeling at all. It's perfect and cheaper than most moisturizers. What a win!
